Our own trucks
Local and port lanes run on trucks we operate, so the loads that matter most are not left to whoever answers a load board.
Partners we have screened
Carriers, forwarders, customs brokers and warehouses chosen for their record, brought in when the freight goes beyond our reach.
Straight answers
One person who knows your shipment, quotes that spell out the extras up front, and a message the moment a plan changes.
Four steps, no surprises
Send the details
Where from, where to, what it is and when. Mention anything awkward: no dock, hazmat, a hard deadline.
Get a plan and a price
We pick the mode and equipment and send one all-in number, normally inside an hour on business days.
We move it
A truck is assigned, appointments are booked, documents are handled, and you hear from us along the way.
Paperwork, same day
Signed proof of delivery, terminal receipts and any customs documents reach you the day the load closes.
Where we run
Daily lanes across the Baltimore–Washington region and down the I-95 corridor, based in southern Prince George's County.

Things shippers ask first
Not covered here? Call (240) 355-0243 or email info@cvdistributions.com and we will answer directly.
Which ports do you pull containers from?
Mainly the Port of Baltimore, including Seagirt and Dundalk marine terminals. We also cover the Port of Virginia terminals in Norfolk and Portsmouth for freight headed to DC, Maryland and Virginia.
How quickly will I hear back on a quote?
Usually within the hour on business days: Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm, Saturday 8am to 2pm. Call (240) 355-0243 or fill in the quote form with the pickup, delivery, freight and dates.
Is CV Distributions a carrier or a broker?
It is both. CV Distributions is operated by Rudeway Transport LLC, a carrier in Accokeek, Maryland. Local and regional lanes run on our own trucks; longer lanes are arranged with outside carriers we have screened.
How far do your own trucks go?
Prince George's County, Southern Maryland, Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, Montgomery County, Baltimore and Annapolis are regular territory. Beyond that we arrange truckload and LTL across the lower 48 states and coordinate ocean and air freight.
My shipment needs to clear customs. Can you help?
Yes. We work with your licensed customs broker, or introduce you to one, and watch for holds and releases so a truck is only sent when the container can actually be picked up. Exam site moves and bonded transport can be arranged.
Can you store or transload freight between Baltimore and DC?
Yes, through partner warehouses along the Baltimore–Washington corridor. Containers are unloaded, palletized, cross-docked or held short term, then delivered on trucks that suit the receiver.
What kind of equipment is available?
Chassis for 20, 40, 40 high-cube and 45-foot containers, 53-foot dry vans, and liftgate box trucks for downtown streets and loading zones. Reefer, flatbed and step deck come through partner carriers.
We are a forwarder or broker. Will you haul for us?
Gladly. Email info@cvdistributions.com for a carrier packet with W-9, certificate of insurance, authority and references.
Got freight to move? Tell us about it.
Send the lane, the freight and the date. You will have a plan and a price back, usually within the hour on business days.
